CENTIPEDE:
Centipedes are elongated segmented creatures with one pair of legs per body segment. All centipedes are venomous and can inflict painful bites, injecting their venom through the appendages known as forcipules.
We began this module by choosing a pest which we didn't like. I selected a centipede because I hate the legs and the antennae of the centipede as they are very poisonous. So below are a few sketches of the centipede which I drew:
Next we made models of the pests that we chose. So I made a working model of a centipede to show the movement of its body when it is in motion.
Next we were made into groups of 3 so we made a model of a caterpillar and tried to show its movement.
In this model, the materials that we used was wood and strings. We used wood to make the outer wooden frames to depict the body of the caterpillar and then attached the strings to show the movement of its body. As the caterpillar moves, the entire body moves forward for its motion.
