Mobilities is a contemporary paradigm in a social sciences that explores the movement of people (human migration, individual mobility, travel, transport) as well as the broader social implications of those movements.

Drawing examples from the mobile world, mobile peoples, and mobile nature, the course unpacks the practices and politics of mobilities. It shows the human-more-than-human entanglements that impinge on our daily experiences and understandings of space, place and landscape.
Next we were told to follow the movement of particular person so we traced the movement of Yash, a person from the Purnabrahama food caterers who recently took over to manage the SEA canteen in the college premises. A normal day in SEA for them looks like breakfast in morning and lunch in the noon timings. Yash has been in the food catering and hotel line ever since lockdown ended.
